First responders prepare to search a simulated victim.

This high intensity 8 hour course teaches non-medical law enforcement officers and firefighters how to provide medical care during high threat situations and operate as a rescue task force. POST approved upon agency sponsorship. This course is not open to the general public.

Advanced Bleeding Control

A student packs a simulated junctional wound.

Hard to find the time to train? This 1 hour course teaches you the basics of controlling major hemorrhage and treating injuries such as gunshot wounds and explosives injuries. You will learn the proper way to apply tourniquets, chest seals, wound packing, pressure dressings, & more. Certification is valid for 2 years.

First Care Providers are trained and willing bystanders who provide medical care for wounded victims in high threat situations in the critical period before police and EMS arrive. Most fatalities in active shooter and terrorist attacks die from otherwise survivable injuries that go untreated in the critical first few minutes.


This course teaches you the mindset and skill set to lead others and provide advanced care in the presence of a direct or indirect threat.

The Columbine High School shooting in 1999 changed the way that mass shootings were handled by professional responders with a duty to act. Sadly, now, almost 20 years later many agencies in the United States still lack training in high threat situations or have policies in place that create confusion between responding agencies.

Most EMS responders are not properly trained to provide operational medical support to law enforcement agencies during high threat situations. 


This two day, 16 (1.6 CEU) hour course is designed to give EMS personnel the skill set, knowledge, and confidence to operate in multi-agency or multi-jurisdictional responses to high threat situations such as active shooter and terrorist attacks.

This 8 hour program trains workplace emergency response personnel how to treat life threatening injuries from acts of violence in the critical period before EMS arrives, while meeting OSHA regulatory requirements for CPR & First Aid training. Upon completion students will receive a certification in CPR/AED & First Aid and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care.

Major bleeding is the leading cause of death in trauma, but remains the most treatable. Many people do not have the time to attend a full emergency care course, but have the need to possess the skills necessary to treat major injuries when EMS response may be delayed or overwhelmed.


This hands-on 1 hour course focuses on the core concepts of controlling major bleeding with direct pressure, pressure dressings, wound packing, & tourniquets, and managing shock. Upon completion you will receive a certification in Advanced Bleeding Control from the American Safety & Health Institute.
