The TN Enhanced Carry Permit is currently recognized in 37 states! This course covers eligibility, handgun carry law, use of defensive force, use of deadly force, castle doctrine, defense of third persons, handgun safety, fundamentals of shooting, malfunctions, and more. NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting

Hone your skills in the most realistic situations on our professional video scenario trainer system. Students will have the opportunity to practice their fundamentals on multiple target scenarios then be engaged in multiple shoot/no shoot situations. Students will practice judgemental shooting, rapid target acquisition, and accountability. Each scenario will be recorded and played back for review by the student. Class size is limited to 10 students. All shooting will be done with our Glock 17 simulator weapon. No student firearms will be allowed in the classroom during this training.

TN Enhanced Handgun Carry Permits are currently recognized in 37 states, and in TN state parks. Having an Enhanced Carry Permit affords you rights not recognized by permitless carry.


Basic courses such as Defensive Pistol 1, Fundamentals of Shooting, 


We offer firearms safety courses to those 12 & up with a parent present. Our Defensive shooting courses are for those 18 & older. TN handgun permits require that you be at least 21.


Absolutely! We take the body mechanics of older shooters into consideration when developing our course. Our oldest student to have taken Defensive Pistol was 84 and able to perform all skills without difficulty.


Yes we do! We understand that many shooters require more of a challenge than basic courses. We offer specialty courses in CQB, Low Light, Vehicle Tactics, and more. Contact us for more information on these courses.

TN Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit

This course meets the requirements to apply for the TN Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit, which is currently recognized in 37 states. This course is 6-8 hours in length and is open to Tennessee residents 21 and older (18+ if active military). Students must pass a 50 question written exam and a 50 round shooting qualification.
